Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap apologized to cinematographer-turned-actor Natarajan Subramanian aka Natty over a phone call for ignoring him all these days. This came after Natty, in a series of tweets, called the Choked director selfish and a fool for forgetting him.

Anurag managed to read those tweets and media reports and patched up with his old friend. He took to Twitter to share a bunch of tweets that speak highly of Natty and how he helped him find his way in the film industry. Calling Natty's anger genuine, he apologized to him on social media.

The Manmarziyaan director said that it was Natty who taught him how to communicate his shots to his cameraman. He further added that Natty introduced him to Tamil cinema.

Stating that this misunderstanding is between two friends, Anurag said that he wasn't there when Natty needed him.

On June 4, Natarajan Subramaniam shared a series of tweets in which he called Anurag Kashyap a selfish person. He further added that he worked for him without getting any remuneration. Natty was hurt that Anurag had forgotten him and went about his work despite all that he had done for him.

Many media reports painted a picture that Natrajan is abusing Anurag. The latter took to Twitter and requested the media and public to hear him out and asked everyone to treat this message as the official statement.

After Anurag spoke to Natty over the phone, the cinematographer took to Twitter to post a message. He wrote, "I love you...Thank you, Anurag. For the media out there, they made me look bad."

Anurag Kashyap and Natty's friendship go back a long way. The two have now put aside their differences and have patched up.
